Hi there! I’m currently learning English, and today I’d like to share my honest thoughts about “Generative AI.”

To be honest, seeing the term “Generative AI” thrown around so much in the news lately can feel a bit exhausting, don’t you think?
Phrases like, “It’s essential for the future!” or “You’ll get left behind!” are everywhere. But is it really all that?

As a business owner myself, I have to admit that at first, I was quite confused.
There’s just so much information out there that I didn’t know where to start.
Even searching online only brings up a flood of complicated explanations.

But here’s the good news — it’s actually okay to approach it more simply than you might think.
For example, you don’t need to understand how a TV works to enjoy watching it.
As long as you know how to use it and understand the benefits it brings, you’ll naturally want to try it out.

Moving forward, I’d like to introduce “Generative AI for Beginners,” especially for business leaders like myself.
I’ll share my experiences, including my mistakes, in a relaxed and approachable way.
Rather than flashy success stories, I’ll focus on practical and relatable ways to make use of this technology.

It’s New Year’s Day 2025, and as I write this, I’m admiring the stunning first sunrise of the year from my home on Awaji Island.
Reflecting on my goals for the year, I’m reminded of how the sunlight gradually streams through the window — a little progress at a time.

Let’s take the same approach together. No need to rush. Let’s figure out how to embrace Generative AI as a new companion (yes, there’s no need to fear it!).
