The Ruptubrostocks vs Smokomoth, or proof that “AI” is total garbage | by Nik Hein | Jan, 2025

With all the excitement, hate, and whatnot boiling around the generative “AI,” everybody seems to forget one important thing.
It sure is artificial, but in no way could it be called “intellect.” Because it’s ridiculously stupid, and I just did a small funny experiment to prove it.
I know that platforms like Medium, Amazon, and gazillion of others (my guess — on every existing) are now flooded with generated content, making it hard for true creators to break through to the audience across the multiverse of total gibberish. What is even more ridiculous is that some of those responsible for the flood are calling themselves “writers” and “artists” because “they created the prompt.” They think that generative algorithms are capable of understanding what is written in these prompts and that “AI” somehow evolves a logical story from them.
WRONG. 200% WRONG.
“AI” simply can’t do that. It just reconfigures some pieces of the puzzle without any knowledge about what they mean. Here’s the proof.
I have created this prompt for “AI”:
In the year of 1294.009, the ruptubrostocks found themselves in the desperate fight for their floopsies against the monstrously syrupous jawngawdins. The casualties are heavy and they…
